Breast pump hire

Need to express milk?
Then look no further
We have three Ameda Egnell SMB electric,plug in pumps for hire at £1.10 a day to hire.
There is a minimum hire of 1 week.
You will need to purchase a milk collection bottle and associated tubing, which you keep, costing £9.50.

Library

We have a library of useful books and tapes now stored at Creative Play 1 - Mondays, 1.15-2.45pm at St James' Church, Lulworth Road, Birkdale. They can be borrowed for four weeks at a time. You can download the list of Library Books

Do you have questions or concerns about breastfeeding?
Would you like to meet other breastfeeding mums?
Visit one of the weekly support groups at these venues:

Mondays 1.30-2.30pm

Linaker Children's Centre, Sefton St, Southport
Tuesdays 12.00-1.00pm

Ainsdale Health Centre, Sandbrook Rd, Ainsdale
Wednesdays 1.00-2.30pm

Churchtown Health Centre, Cambridge Rd, Churchtown
Every 4th Thursday of the month 2.00-3.00pm

North West England Development Project

Are you a parent looking for a new direction? Would you like to work with new parents?
The Parenting Fund is supporting the NCT to develop access to and awareness of services throughout North West England.
There is funding to help a new postnatal leader or brestfeeding counsellor to get started in each branch. All new students will do some work targeting 'hard to reach' groups.
The only qualification needed is your experience as a parent.
Training is flexible to suit you.
You choose your career direction.
Once qualified you will receive a Diploma of HIgher Education.
Grants are available to cover training costs.
