As a charity, NCT relies on donations and membership fees in order to continue its work of offering every parent a positive experience of pregnancy and life with their new baby. If you have found the website helpful, please join us so we can help others.
Membership covers two parents and costs £36 for the first year. In subsequent years the cost is £26, for those joining or renewing by quarterly or annual direct debit. For those paying by methods other than quarterly or annual direct debit membership/membership renewal is £39 or £29 respectively. Monthly direct debit rates are £3.50 or £2.50 respectively. Alternatively, you can pay £100 for four years or £250 for ten years.
You could buy an NCT membership as a gift, for perhaps a daughter, friend, colleague, sister or partner who is pregnant. You can buy an NCT membership as a gift, which will help her find out more about having a baby, while making new friends.
Reduced membership fees are available if you qualify for free NHS prescriptions(other than being pregnant/having child under one). Qualifying groups are: those in receipt of income support or income-based job seekers allowance,recipients of working tax credit (which includes a disability element) or a tax credit with entitlement to an NHS credit exemption certificate.
Local members receive a newsletter with details of events, articles and ideas, four times a year. There is also a national magazine 'New Gen' with news, maternity and parenting issues.
